Welcome to South Kingstown, Rhode Island

South Kingstown, Rhode Island is centrally located along the largest stretch of coastline in the state. Its’ 80 square miles is the second largest in the state and is comprised of several smaller communities each with their own unique characteristics. Snug Harbor, Green Hill and East Matunuck are located on the waterfront, and Perryville, Tuckertown and Usquepaugh offer country living at its best. Historic areas include the towns of Wakefield, Peacedale and Kingston which is home to the University of Rhode Island and the South County Amtrak station.

In addition to its 10 miles of pristine beaches, many marinas, abundant restaurants, and all types of watersports, the town also has tennis courts, hiking trails, a bike path and historical sites to visit.
